Recommendation: I suggest Sankara’s Essence for stimulating confidence and power, purpose and vision. This oil is very activating in all of the sense-mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Sankara’s Essence is an honoring and homage to the fervor, eloquence, righteousness, passion, intoxication and fertility of freedom fighters and liberation. For me, it’s a stimulant for visualization, a seducer of my olfactory, and awakening. One of the oils I used is also referred to as “incense of the black sun”- imagine! The black sun for many hermetics and by ancient/original spiritualities share the symbolism of the Black Sun as representing creation, dissolution, the womb, the shadow side of creation. Essentially, newness, beginning, creation and insight through awakening, similar to the power of the sun, photosynthesis or amplification.

This fragrance oil possesses deep aromatics, density, a sweet and energizing spice, softened and brightened with a succulent citrus. I ruminated and meditated over what spiritual romance felt like- eloquence, heaviness, sexiness, and what righteous wealth would feel and smell like.

Physical and Metaphysical Insight:

Labdanum - Among Labdanum’s uses for the physical body are lymphatic drainage and inhalation therapy. Labdanum offers a strong calming for the mind, specifically post a severe trauma. It is also an expectorant, being historically used for viral ailments like cold, coughs, the flu and respiratory issues. Most commonly it’s used to treat wounds and heal skin issues-skin damage, acne scars, and anti-aging treatments. In antiquity and historically, Labdanum was used as a catalyst for spiritual visualization and experiences, bringing them forward to our conscious by anointing the body. It is also a very powerful attractant.

Juniper Berry - Juniper Berry was once used to sterilize surgeons tools and to fumigate a room from sickness. All of this speak to Juniper Berry’s metaphysical powers some of which are of cleaning, clearing and removing or killing contamination. It is a powerful purifier for the physical and spiritual body. Juniper Berry is one of the oldest and few known magical plants dating back to the Neolithic Era. Pharaohs and ancient Egyptian nobilities were found buried with Juniper berry in hand, the belief is it protects from this world to the next. Juniper Berry is a spiritual preserver.

Black Pepper - Black pepper was so revered and valued that it was used as currency. Physically, among other things, it is a stimulant, helping foster blood flow, and used as a decongestant. Black pepper is also known to keep our brains neuro pathways clear, which speaks to its metaphysical power of activating our Third Eye. Among some of its metaphysical uses are its activating power or stimulating power which are great for enhancing magic or spell work. More commonly, black pepper is used to relieve emotional and physical coldness, hence its tie to sex magic.
